David Lory is a Wisconsin craftsman who has been making wood bowls for over 30 years. Each bowl is hand crafted. All of the wood used to make these bowls is found in Wisconsin, Iowa or Illinois. David Lory uses a unique process, which involves using a lathe, coating the bowls with four to five layers of food-safe epoxy and sanding. The finished bowls are approximately 1/8" thick and have a beautiful satin finish. The finish is guaranteed. The bowls are easy to care for - just wash in soapy water. David Lory expects each bowl to be used an appreciated for years - hopefully it will become your "Heirloom Bowl."
